The 2023 Isuzu D-Max was revealed before its December 2022 debut in showrooms. The MY23 D’Max is equipped with various updates, new models, and, surprisingly, no price increases given the current economic climate.
Hiroyasu Sato, managing director of Isuzu Ute Australia, said: “This is the biggest update to the Isuzu D-Max since its debut. Each model will receive a bolder aesthetic, new features, and four new models, giving customers more choice.”
“In a segment where many brands have reduced features to meet delivery deadlines, we have listened to feedback from our customers and media and introduced new features, which appeal to both the modern ute driver and towing-and-touring adventurer.
The 2023 Isuzu D-Max lineup is characterized by the availability of the 110kW/350Nm four-cylinder turbodiesel engines, previously only available in the SX single-cab chassis. They are also available in the SX Crew Cab 4×2 or SX Crew Cab 4×4 versions. The 140kW/450Nm four-cylinder turbodiesel engine is still used in all other models, either with a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.
The 2023 Isuzu D-Max range also includes the following:
- New alloy wheel designs.
- A lighter exterior refreshment like a new grille.
- Tire-pressure monitoring as standard.
